As a new semester starts, we are excited to announce our new writing staff for the Honors Pulse!

Kaitlin Foley is the student editor for the pulse and is currently a junior double majoring in Political Science and Communication & Media Studies with a concentration on Media. She is from Muskego, WI, which is in the Milwaukee / Waukesha area. On campus, she is involved with the St. Norbert Times, the Residence Hall Association, Phi Beta Lambda, and Delta Phi Epsilon. She also works in the LSE office. A fun fact about Kaitlin is that she has been to 18 different states!
Grace White is a junior double majoring in English and Communication & Media Studies with a concentration in Communication. She is from Reeseville, WI, a tiny town in between Madison and Milwaukee. A fun fact about Grace is that she has really liked dinosaurs since she was little, which has translated into her adulthood via a large dinosaur t-shirt collection.


Katie Hulce is a senior Business major and English and Leadership Studies double minor. She is from Appleton, WI, not far from SNC. Aside from The Honors Pulse, Katie is an active member of Delta Phi Epsilon as well as BIG. More than anything else she enjoys traveling and eating good food. One of her favorite trips was when she went whitewater rafting in the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Holly Buczek is a senior at SNC. She is an MC/EA Education major with a history minor and a Spanish certificate. She is from Port Washington, WI, and is involved in the TRIPS program, Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, and of course, the Honors Pulse. You can also find her working at Ed’s Cafe! A fun fact about Holly is that she cannot nap, no matter how hard she tries.


Morgan Fimreite is a double major in Biology and Chemistry, minoring in Spanish and Mathematics. She is a first-year student involved with groups around SNC such as Circle K, Colleges Against Cancer, and Wishmakers. A fun fact about Morgan is that she can play three instruments– piano, trumpet, and guitar!
Brenna Cisler is a junior writer for SNC Honors Pulse Newsletter. She is from New Franken, Wisconsin, which is about 30 minutes from St. Norbert College, and is majoring in psychology with a minor in business administration. She competes on the cross-country and track teams and is involved with Women in Business Club, the Psychology Club, French Club, and Adventure Club. She is also a member of Chiara and CruLive, the Navigate Program, notetaker, and the St. Norbert Times. She loves writing, travelling, and doing anything outdoors and being in the sunshine. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, along with her dog and horse!


Alaina Heenan is a sophomore double majoring in Biology and Spanish. She is from Platteville, WI. She is currently involved with writing for the Honors Pulse, and is hoping to become more involved in our community. A fun fact about her is that she loves traveling!
Brooklyn Filtzkowski is a first-year double majoring in English & Psychology, with a minor in Philosophy. On campus, she is involved with organizations including A Moment of Magic, Eco Club, and Knight Theater. A fun fact about Brooklyn is that she can play guitar!
